To all the teachers of the SLSU College of Agriculture and every other.
We bid you thanks for all you have done and yet to be done for all of us students.
Let this day give light to all the sacrifices you made, sleepless nights spent complishing lesson plans, the endless stack of papers waiting to be graded long after the school day ends, the out-of-pocket expenses to make learning materials accessible, and those moments when you step into the classroom carrying your own exhaustion while still giving us your warmest smile. Where your work often goes unnoticed in the day-to-day struggle to accomplish your work, hardly noticed by anyone. Know that even as these efforts remain unseen, your lessons continue to shape the lives of students for the better, to set their course for a successful life. That alone is a gift incomparable to any other.
The mind and soul is the garden in which you sow and cultivate the seeds of knowledge wisdom that blossom into the next generation of great thinkers.
You are the beam of light that shines to paths unseen. You are the waters that cleanse away obscurity and uncovers new truths about life.
We hope that we may help remind you of the purpose and passion you have as a teacher. May you carry the confidence that your work inspires others to share their knowledge freely for the better good
Happy teacher's day.
