Assessors and instructors from the College of Maritime Education recently completed a cargo handling simulator training program. This vital initiative was designed to upskill our faculty and elevate the standard of maritime instruction through exposure to advanced simulation technology.

By engaging in continuous professional development, our educators are better equipped to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical maritime operations. This steadfast commitment to excellence ensures the college continues to produce highly competent and industry-ready seafarers.

The Community Extension Services (CES), headed by Mr. Jonathan E. Quesea, successfully conducted a Basic Baking Class for the residents of Brgy. Bocohan, aimed at equipping participants with practical skills in baking.

The activity was facilitated with the help of Mr. Clint Rhoy T. Molina, who guided the participants through fundamental baking techniques and processes. The session provided hands-on experience, allowing residents to learn essential skills that may help them start small livelihood opportunities.

This initiative reflects CES’s commitment to community development by empowering individuals through skill-based training and education.
