Last March 25, we successfully held our SHDA Southern Luzon Chapter Meeting, bringing together members for another productive and engaging session.

Our sincere appreciation to MakeSense Software Services for their generous sponsorship and continued support. Their solutions help streamline operations and empower real estate developers through smarter, more efficient digital systems—making them a valuable partner for our growing industry.

We also thank Engr. Dan Emil R. Barrera of Meralco (CSRMO, now Lucena-based) for being our speaker and for sharing valuable insights on Meralco’s latest services, roadmap, and innovations such as prepaid electricity. His discussion gave our members a clearer understanding of upcoming developments and how these can be integrated into future projects.

Thank you as well to Ben’s Halo-Halo at Isabang Town Center for hosting us and providing a warm and welcoming venue for collaboration.

To all our members, thank you for your continued participation and commitment. Together, we continue to learn, collaborate, and move the SHDA Southern Luzon community forward.

Our sincere thanks to our Regional Director Atty. Lyndon D. Juntilla for warmly welcoming the SHDA Southern Luzon delegation during our courtesy visit last March 24 at DHSUD Calamba.

We truly appreciate the time, openness, and support extended to us. We were grateful for the opportunity to raise and address key concerns, and we highly appreciate Atty. Juntilla’s efforts and willingness to help guide us through these matters.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to SHDA National President Kerwin Padua for his leadership and continued support to the SHDA community.

The discussion was both productive and encouraging, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between our real estate chapter organization and DHSUD in advancing housing and community development.

To our SHDA members who joined the visit, thank you for your continued commitment and active participation. It is through these collective efforts that we strengthen relationships and move the industry forward together.

The Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) Inc. is greatly appreciative of the efforts of Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Ramon P. Aliling and Department of Economy, Planning and Development Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan for the adjustments of the price ceiling for Socialized Housing and the crafting of the corresponding Implementing Rules and Regulations in the joint Memorandum Circular No. 2025-001 Series of 2025.

The new price ceiling is reflective of the current increases in the price of land, labor and materials and will ensure the support for the production of socialized housing both vertical and horizontal project.
