The Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), through the Faculty and Staff Development (FSDP), tapped the Civil Service Commission Regional Office IV-A (CSC RO IV-A) to train the university frontliners with essential skills for customer service from May 27 to 29.

𝗜𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗺

𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝗡𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗛 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗜𝗡𝗙 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗘𝗦)
February 2, 1964 - April 18, 2025

With heavy hearts, the Southern Luzon State University community mourns the untimely passing of LTC NILO H. DATOR INF (GSC) PA (RES) — a man whose life was defined by service, leadership, and unwavering dedication.

Over the years, Dr. Dator served SLSU in various capacities — with excellence as an educator, with discipline as he led SLSU's ROTC unit, and with commitment as an administrator. His leadership touched every corner of the University—from SLSU Gumaca to SLSU Judge Guillermo Eleazar Tagkawayan Campus, where he most recently served as Campus Administrator. In 2023, he also served as OIC-President of the University, where he played a crucial role in ensuring a smooth leadership transition.

His passing leaves a void that words can hardly fill. But even in our sorrow, we find comfort in the legacy he leaves behind—a legacy of loyalty, humility, and true public service. His dedication to the University, its people, and the nation will forever be remembered and cherished.

As we grieve, we also give thanks—for the life he lived, the lives he touched, and the light he leaves behind.

To his family, we offer our deepest sympathies and prayers. May he rest in eternal peace.

The Quezon Provincial Governor, Doktora Helen Tan, pays a site inspection and turn over of the new Televisions to the College of Medicine together with the SLSU Lucena Campus Director, Dr. Jess Alinea, and SLSU COM Faculty, Staff and Students this March 25, 2025.
