Pursuant to the Universityโs continuing obligation to ensure and promote the health, safety, and general welfare of all students, faculty members, and administrative personnel; in due consideration of the advisory issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) relative to the sustained increase in temperature and heat index levels; and upon due regard to the representations and requests of the Supreme Student Council Federation, SLSU Faculty Association, SLSU Employee Association, and SLSU Faculty and Employees Club, this Office hereby orders and authorizes the temporary relaxation of the existing dress code policies, effective immediately and to remain in full force and effect unless and until otherwise amended, superseded, or revoked by competent authority.
This temporary adjustment seeks to provide reasonable accommodation and mitigate the risks associated with heat-related stress and illness, while continuing to uphold the standards of decency, professionalism, and institutional decorum expected within the Universityโs academic and administrative environments.
