The University Collegiate Student Council proudly opens applications for the 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿-𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 — an initiative dedicated to helping deserving students acquire IT certifications and strengthen their skills in the tech industry.

Selected applicants (30) will receive financial assistance for certification opportunities that can open doors for academic growth, professional development, and future career success.

The UCSC successfully conducted its Regular Session on April 24, 2026, at 1:36 PMm at the OSAS Conference Room, reinforcing its commitment to transparent, responsive, and participatory student governance. The session centered on the proposed consultation to recommend adjustment of the Student Assistant Allowance to better address the increasing cost of living.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱:
- Recommendation for the Review of Student Assistant Allowance
- Consultation with Student Assistants and Supervisors
- Opening the discussion to recommend a review to the university’s uniform policy
- Other matters

Through active dialogue and collective deliberation, the Council continued in committing progressive policies that upheld the welfare and interests of the Envergan community.

In celebration of Earth Day this coming Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the University Central Canteen will implement an eco-friendly initiative encouraging everyone to bring their own food containers and tumblers for food and beverage purchases.

Kindly take note of the following guidelines:
1) All customers are required to use personal food containers and tumblers for take-out orders.
2) Regular dine-in procedures will remain in place and reusable plates and utensils will be provided.
3) The use and distribution of paper plates, paper cups, and disposable spoons and forks will be temporarily suspended for one (1) day.

This effort supports our commitment to minimizing waste and promoting sustainable habits within our campus!
