Maryhill College Personnel Gather for General Orientation 2026
Maryhill College personnel convened for the General Orientation 2026 on June 19, 2026, at the Edificio de San Fernando, marking the institutionโs formal preparation for the new academic year.
Rev. Fr. Allan Neil L. Laqueo, School President, presented the revised organizational structure of Maryhill College, introducing the members of the Board of Trustees, the Vice Presidents for Academic Affairs, Administration, Finance, and Research and External Relations, as well as the personnel serving under their respective divisions.
Fr. Laqueo also presented the revised Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO) and Core Values of the institution. Recognition was given to Dr. Lawrence Oliver V. Paunil, former Vice President for Academic Affairs, for spearheading the review and development of the revised VMGO.
The different divisions of the College were subsequently introduced. Dr. Hazel O. Hernandez, Vice President for Academic Affairs, presented the Academic Services Division and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to continue serving alongside the Maryhill community in advancing the institutionโs mission and vision. She also introduced the Deans of the Higher Education Department, the Principals of the Basic Education Department and Maryhill College Premier School (MCPS), as well as the faculty members from both departments. The Campus Ministry likewise presented its organizational structure and programs under the Academic Services Division.
Rev. Fr. Raul A. Macaraig, Vice President for Administration, introduced the General Administrative Services Division and highlighted its role in supporting the efficient management and day-to-day operations of the institution.
Sr. Aurea A. Brania, Vice President for Finance, presented the members and functions of the Finance Services Division through an audio-visual presentation.
Meanwhile, Dr. Lawrence Oliver V. Paunil, Vice President for Research and External Relations, introduced the offices and personnel under his division. He emphasized the divisionโs role in providing leadership in research, training and development, and external relations initiatives that create meaningful impact for the Maryhill community and its stakeholders.
The orientation also featured video presentations from the General Services Unit, Office of Human Resource and Development, Office of Student Affairs and Services, School Library, Office of the Registrar, Accounting Office, Management Information System Office, and the Maryhill College Personnel Organization (MCPO), providing an overview of their functions, responsibilities, and services within the College.
The General Orientation 2026 concluded with the closing remarks of Rev. Fr. Raul A. Macaraig, Vice President for Administration, who reminded employees of their responsibility in providing quality education and expressed hope for a productive and meaningful school year for the entire Maryhill College community.
