In the recent Search for Mr. and Ms. Institute of Teacher Education 2025 “Coronation Night” held on November 29, 2025, organized by the Institute of Teacher Education – Student Council (ITE-SC), particularly in the announcement of the Top 3 male candidates following the Top 5 Question & Answer portion,

The ITE-SC would like to sincerely apologize for the confusion and concern that the incident have caused, most especially to John Michael V. Bello and to Ephraim Chriswell M. Masiclat, as well as to their supporters. We deeply regret the mistake that transpired and understand its emotional impact on the candidates and everyone present, from which we take full responsibility. Again, our sincerest apologies to all.

The ITE-SC would also like to implore everyone in the Institute to refrain from expressing any remark towards students and faculty members that is uncalled for.

In the end, we, as one Institute, the Institute of Teacher Education, must celebrate the collective success of this year’s pageant, and as one community, proudly supports the candidates who will represent us in future events.
