Bringing back the '08 Twilight nostalgia in our recently concluded 2nd General Assembly for the A.Y. 2025-2026, with our fangs out and claws ready. It truly felt like stepping straight into Forks!

Here are some snaps from PAHINA's annual general assembly — a celebration reminding us of the core foundations of PAHINA, what we truly stand for, and why we do what we do!

An orientation was held for new and continuing members introducing the humble beginnings of the organization, headed by the Executive Officers of PAHINA. PAHANS also enjoyed a little get-to-know session where they shared their book recommendations and discussed recent reads! It's giving major Bella-in-the-bookstore energy!

PAHINA President, Alyssa Rain G. Angeles, teased a sneak peek of exciting activities in store this year, along with exclusive PAHINA merchandise for our PAHANS to enjoy. Of course, it would not be a PAHINA event without fun-filled, interactive games that challenged the members' wit, strategy, and teamwork — with Team Edward securing the bag! (Sorry, wolves... Maybe next full moon.)

And there's more! A surprise raffle draw was held at the end of the program, with Saci Ayen B. Fernando as our lucky PAHAN who brought home a special token prepared by the organization.

At PAHINA, we remain committed to building a community that finds solace, purpose, and a sense of belongingness through literature and arts. From our shared love for books and stories, we hope to have it translate into something more meaningful — one that brings the same light and magic we experience through literature to communities around us.

We are immensely grateful to, once again, turn a brand-new page with PAHINA. As we write this next chapter, may every page be filled with memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

There were no sparkling vampires and werewolf transformations (maybe in our next event), but it was definitely a day worthy of being written into our very own saga! 🦇🐺

In solidarity with the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children, NU Clark – Sexuality and Gender Alliance stands together with our NU Clark Registered Student Organizations to amplify one powerful message: VAWC has no place in our homes, our campuses, or our society.

Every story shared, every stand taken, is a reminder that violence is not just a statistic — it is a lived pain that no woman or child should ever endure.

Through these advocacy messages, we honor the courage of survivors, we acknowledge the wounds that often go unseen, and we pledge to fight for a world where everyone is safe to simply be.

May these voices move us, challenge us, and strengthen our resolve.

Because ending VAWC is not just a campaign, it is a promise we make to every life longing for dignity, protection, and love.
