Thirty (30) new freshmen students (10 each from Applied Psychology, Business Economics, and Business Management) residing in Pampanga and nearby provinces are invited to join the University Welcome Assembly on Monday, 07 September 2026 at the University Theater, UP Diliman.

🚍 Shuttle Bus Service provided by Pampanga Provincial Government
⏰ Departure Time: 8:00 am sharp
⚠️ Please arrive before 8:00 am to avoid delays.
🥪 Kindly bring your own food and drinks as the trip may take several hours.

Courtesy Visits for Demand Survey Coordination

On August 27, 2026, UPDEPPO Director Dr. Patrick C. De Leon and Research & Extension Coordinator Dr. Rhayan G. Melendres visited three partner schools in Pampanga: East Porac National High School, Angeles City National High School, and Mabalacat National High School.

During these courtesy visits, the UPDEPPO team personally sought the permission of the school principals to conduct the demand survey, an important step in ensuring that the voices of students and institutions are heard in shaping responsive academic and extension programs.

We sincerely thank EPNHS, ACNHS, and MNHS for their interest and support to our future degree program offerings.

UPDEPPO Advisory: Leniency for Students Affected by Floods

Due to the ongoing heavy rains and flooding across Central Luzon, many students are currently displaced or staying in evacuation centers. In line with Memorandum No. PCDL 26‑88 issued August 31, 2026, faculty members and lecturers are requested to extend leniency to affected students. Absences from both face‑to‑face and online classes will be excused for at least one week.

We thank our faculty for their understanding and compassion during this time.

In light of the announcement by the Mabalacat City Government, face-to-face classes in UPDEPPO are suspended on Saturday, August 29, 2026 due to continuous rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon.

To ensure the safety of personnel, operations will shift to work-from-home arrangements. All classes shall adopt remote learning delivery modalities to ensure academic continuity and avoid disruption in students learning.

Faculty, staff, and students are advised to prioritize safety and remain updated through advisories from PAGASA and local government units.

In light of the announcement by the Mabalacat City LGU regarding continuous heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsson, face-to-face classes in UPDEPPO are suspended on Friday, August 28, 2026.

All classes will shift to remote learning modalities to ensure academic continuity. Meanwhile, office work will proceed as scheduled.

We encourage all students, faculty, and staff to prioritize safety and remain updated through official public advisories.

Landbank Information Session Successfully Concluded

UPDEPPO extends its gratitude to the Land Bank of the Philippines, represented by Ms. Joanne Salangsang and Ms. Noreen Polintan, for generously sharing their time and expertise during the information session held today, Wednesday, 26 August 2026 at the UPDEPP Library.

Student and staff attendees learned more about the wide range of products and services that LBP offers, gaining practical knowledge that can support their personal financial management.
