The Tau Gamma Phi Triskelion Grand Fraternity aims to promote and achieve the goals of fraternal brotherhood and equality among its members. The combination of leadership, commitment and dedication were the main objectives that enabled them to establish this functional camaraderie.
On the opening of Mapua Information Technology Center campus in Makati around March of 2002, Bro. Michael "Miki" Ventenilla (Mapua Intramuros) met with Bro. Carl "Akimbo" Fernandez (U.P. Los Baños) in Mapua Makati campus, and pondered how to form the Mapua Makati based brods. Initially, the duo recruited 6 pioneer members.
The charter batch who embraced the Tenet and Codes of Conduct are Bro. Frank Ching, Bro. Eric Gesalta, Bro. Lucky Lumampao, Bro. Peter Clemor, Bro. Angelo Lumauig and Bro. Ryandolf Serrano. And when everything was all set for the foundation of the new chapter, Bro. Michael Ventenilla requested help from his alma mater to establish the Mapua Makati chapter, unfortunately he was refused.
And with that said, he was compelled to seek the counsel of Bro. Mark "Max" Orense (San Sebastian College) MDG '00, Bro. Bert Santos (San Sebastian College) former Regional Director of MMRC, and with the guidance of Bro. Kristoffer Mendoza (PLM) Secretary General of MMRC at that time, they were able to conduct the first initiation rites on June 1, 2002 at Sta. Mesa Manila.
Henceforth, the Mapua Makati brods was born. The only existing fraternity in Mapua Makati campus.
In 2015, most of the residents of the chapter already graduated. Bro. Ricardo "Pax" Dalangin MDG batch 13 (Mapua Makati) returned to recruit for the new generation of brods.
With the help of Bro. Mark "Gwapz" Roxas MDG batch 15 (Mapua Makati) and the Alumni/Elders Association of the chapter. The duo conduct the initiation rights on December 5th of 2015 in Muntinlupa City.
The new generation of brods who embraced the Tenet and Codes of Conduct are Bro. Yves Muyano, Bro. Wes Etis, Bro. Mark Arao, Bro. Christopher Paraan, Bro. Jenco Tseng and Bro. Clinton Sorilla.
And now, the new generation of brods was born and the rest was history.
