During today’s blessing of October medals, we were called to reflect on our motivations to becoming a doctor.

Ask yourself, do you do what you do out of guilt? Or mercy and compassion? How can I be a neighbor to others?

In our schools, we continue the beautiful tradition of receiving the Blue Medal, a simple reminder of Mary’s loving presence and intercession in our lives.

“O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.”

Today we honor San Lorenzo Ruiz, whose martyrdom teaches us that choosing God above all else is choosing eternal life.

May we always choose to protect our faith and honor the spiritual soul within us✨

Every day, we receive His blessings simply because He is generous…
not because we deserve them!
Lord, thank you for this undeserved grace and for never giving up on me.
May my life be a reflection of the very same grace I receive day after day. Amen.
-Reginald Gamba-
(taken from his reflection on the 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time)

May we offer our thanks and receive God's grace in the Eucharist to be a blessing to others.
