The 55th Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Program officially began today at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business – Center for Continuing Education, Salcedo Campus, bringing together professionals committed to driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in their respective organizations.

Leading the session is Ms. Bim Mercado, Program Director of Six Sigma Certification Programs at Ateneo CCE, as well as a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Lean Practitioner. Through this intensive seven-day program, participants will deepen their understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and develop the capability to lead independent improvement initiatives while supporting larger cross-functional projects.

The program focuses on building practical competencies in defining and measuring operational challenges, analyzing root causes, implementing effective solutions, and establishing sustainable process controls that create measurable impact within organizations.

Participants who successfully complete the program requirements, including the certification examination and project completion, will be awarded the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

It was a collaborative and fruitful session today for the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification Program at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business-Center for Continuing Education, Salcedo campus. The session was led by Ms. Bim Mercado, Program Director of Six Sigma Certification Programs at the Ateneo Graduate School - Center for Continuing Education and a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Lean Practitioner.

As an introductory program, the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification covers the essential principles of Lean and Six Sigma. Our Yellow Belts are trained to support process improvement activities alongside Black Belts and Green Belts, contributing through process knowledge and data collection.

Today at the Ateneo Rockwell Campus, we dove deep into the One Day with Master Entrepreneurs program. This wasn't just a lecture—it was a bird’s eye view of the critical pillars of business including Marketing, Operations, HR, and Finance, delivered by those who have lived it.

Key takeaways from today’s sessions included the frameworks of connecting the 21Ps of Marketing to the QDP framework of Operations, understanding how the 8Rs of HR empower the sales force and beyond, and mastering the mindset balance between the 3Os of Originator, Organizer, and Operator and the 3Is of Inspirer, Implementor, and Improver.
