𝐀 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐃-𝐎𝐅𝐅 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐑

Before the start of the three-day ordeal that awaits our Herons on September 6, 9, and 13, our barristers gathered for an intimate dinner, surrounded by the people and community who stand firmly behind them.

In attendance to support our barristers were the School of Law Centralized Bar Operations, Administrative Staff, Center Directors, and Faculty, including Atty. Mikaela Andrea Cuaoyes, Atty. Demetrio Cabulay, Jr., Atty. Ferlan Farinas, Atty. Angel Chona Grace Valero-Nuñez, and Judge Joselito Villarosa.

Joining them were our deans, Associate Dean Antony J. Parreño, Dean Jose M. Layug, Jr., and Dean Emeritus and Former Vice President Jejomar C. Binay, together with the newly appointed UMak Chancellor Atty. Nestor Leynes III and City Mayor Nancy S. Binay.

The gathering served as a fitting send-off for our 14 barristers. Words of encouragement and well wishes were shared, while a prayer was offered for their guidance, strength, and protection as they face one of the greatest challenges in their journey toward becoming lawyers.

More than a dinner, it was a moment of transition. Our barristers had the opportunity to reintroduce themselves, no longer simply as students of law, but as bar examinees standing at the threshold of a dream they have spent years working toward: becoming lawyers.

To our 14 Herons:

Carry with you the lessons of the past, the strength you have built along the way, and the prayers of everyone who stands behind you.

Go beyond your limits. Strive with hope and grit. And keep moving ever upward.
