The first few days of life are filled with precious milestones, but they are also an important window for protecting a newborn's health.

While the birth of a baby brings so much joy, it also comes with the responsibility of making sure they get the care they need from the very beginning. One way we can help make this possible is through newborn screening, which allows certain health conditions to be found early, even before signs or symptoms appear.

This National Newborn Screening Week, let us spread the word and encourage parents to make newborn screening part of their baby's early care. After all, taking this simple step can make a big difference in a child's life.
