𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 | 𝐇𝐈𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐉𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐘

Meet Mark Anthony B. Fernandez, a 4th-year Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences (BSESS) student of Aklan State University–Makato Campus and a passionate adventurer who finds purpose in every trail he takes.

From Mt. Baloy Daku in Valderrama, Antique, a remote 1,958-meter peak known for its demanding ascent and considered part of the Panay Trilogy alongside Mt. Madjaas and Mt. Nangtud, to Mt. Madjaas and Mt. Maylumay in Panipiason, Madalag, Mark continues to challenge himself through hiking and exploring the mountains of Panay.

Beyond hiking, Mark also embraces the challenge of being a fun runner, carrying his passion for movement and adventure beyond the trails.

For Mark Anthony, every climb is more than reaching the summit—it is an opportunity for strength, perseverance, and self-discovery. Every mountain has a lesson to teach. With every step upward, he learn to be stronger, more patient, and to never give up!

His journey reminds us that growth can happen beyond the classroom—one step, one trail, and one mountain at a time. 🌿🏔️
