Yesterday, June 3, 2026, the incumbent COMELEC officials, together with 𝐃𝐫. 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐥 𝐂. 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐧, 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, and𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥 𝐀𝐛𝐭𝐮𝐡, successfully led the Orientation and Interview of aspiring applicants for the CMU-USC COMELEC. This initiative aims to equip and assess future student leaders who will uphold the principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability in the electoral process.
The activity served as a vital platform for applicants to understand the roles and responsibilities of being part of the Commission, while also showcasing their readiness to take on the challenge of ensuring fair and credible student elections.
As we gear up for the USC Elections 2026–2027, CMU continues to foster student empowerment and leadership, reinforcing its commitment to democratic participation within the university.

In line with strengthening awareness and promoting progressive approaches in handling children in conflict with the law, the 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮, in collaboration with the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, successfully conducted a seminar titled “𝗝𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸”. The activity served as a platform for learning, reflection, and meaningful dialogue among students and participants regarding the current state of the juvenile justice system and the need for reform.

The seminar highlighted the importance of shifting from traditional punitive responses toward a more rehabilitative and restorative approach grounded in social work principles. As emphasized during the discussion, “𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘸 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮—𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨.” This perspective encourages society to move beyond punishment and instead focus on healing and transformation.

The event was enriched by the insights of our distinguished resource speaker, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗣. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗥𝗦𝗪, 𝗠𝗦𝗦𝗪, known through his platform “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿,” who shared his professional experiences and expertise in handling juvenile cases. He highlighted that “𝘙𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘳, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦.” His discussion provided participants with a deeper understanding of the legal processes, challenges, and ethical responsibilities involved in working with children in conflict with the law.

Furthermore, the seminar underscored the vital role of social workers as agents of change. As one key message resonated, “𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘱𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴.” Participants were encouraged to embody empathy, uphold children’s rights, and contribute to a more compassionate justice system.

Through this initiative, participants were empowered with knowledge and inspired to become advocates of a more humane, inclusive, and rehabilitative approach in addressing juvenile delinquency. “Click Responsibly: A Seminar on Cybersafety; An Anti-Cyberbullying and Cybersex
Crime Awareness”

Organized by Group 1 Luminary, in partnership with the Student Affairs and Services
Office, and with the invaluable support of the 4th year students of the Bachelor of
Science in Social Work, this seminar was held on April 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the City of
Malabon University Hall. The event successfully brought together students and educators
in promoting awareness, responsibility, and ethical behavior in the digital space.

The program commenced with the welcoming remarks of Dr. Hazel C. Gascon, Student
Organizations and Activities Coordinator, followed by an inspirational message from Dr.
Nelson A. Layague, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, who emphasized the
importance of integrity and mindfulness in online interactions.

The seminar featured Dr. Leonardo S. Garcia as the resource speaker, an accomplished
academic leader with over two decades of experience in higher education. Specializing in
public administration, philosophy, and the social sciences, he currently serves as
Department Chair at the University of the East. In his discussion, he highlighted the
importance of cybersafety, responsible online behavior, and the legal and ethical implications
of cyberbullying and cybersex-related offenses. He emphasized critical thinking, digital
accountability, and the role of individuals in fostering a safe and respectful online community.

The program concluded with closing remarks from Prof. Madonna Ang-Sundiam,
Seminar Adviser and Director of the Student Affairs and Services Office, highlighting
the significance of continued awareness and collective responsibility in ensuring a safer
online community.

As we move forward in an increasingly digital world, may this seminar serve as a reminder
that every click carries responsibility. Let us remain vigilant, informed, and guided by ethical
principles, using our knowledge not only to protect ourselves but also to contribute to a safer
and more respectful online environment for all.

On April 8, 2026, BS Social Work–3A (Group 1: Luminary), in collaboration with the
Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO), held the seminar-workshop “Hands that
Hold, Hearts that Lead” at City of Malabon University Hall. The event was also attended
by different student leaders from various student organizations in CMU, who actively
participated and gained valuable insights on effective leadership. It aimed to build leadership
skills, foster volunteerism, and strengthen core values, while exploring ethical principles,
social work practice, and youth civic engagement locally and globally.

Dr. Hazel C. Gascon, Student Organizations and Activities Coordinator, opened the
event, noting that true leadership is rooted in compassionate service rather than titles. Vice
Mayor Eduard Nolasco, represented by Mr. Charles Darwin L. Gabriel, expressed
gratitude, emphasized applying learned lessons in daily life, and pledged continued support
from the Malabon City Government.

Prof. Daniel T. Santiago, RPm, CLC, MAED-GC, used the first image of Earth from the
Moon during the Artemis II mission to illustrate that leadership is defined by humility,
empathy, and listening, not arrogance. Prof. Alexandria Lei Peña-Cardenas, RSW, MMPM,
JSWAP-Adviser, described leadership as being a voice for the unheard, strength for the
vulnerable, and hope for the forgotten—prioritizing sincere service and action.

Resource speaker Mr. John Roe V. Balbin, Chief of Medical Social Work Section at
Tondo Medical Center’s Malasakit Center and an active leader in professional
organizations, shared that leadership is about initiative and putting others first, not position.
He highlighted volunteerism’s role in nation-building and drew from his experiences to show
the resilience needed in social work, inspiring students to serve marginalized communities.

Closing remarks were delivered by Prof. Madonna Ang-Sundiam, RSW, MSSW, BSSW
Program Chair and SASO Director. Drawing from her journey, she encouraged openness
to change and growth, noting that true leaders serve others. She emphasized
humility—including the strength to apologize—balance, and selflessness, stressing that
success should be shared and leadership is not about recognition.

The event reinforced that true leadership begins with compassion and a commitment to
change. Together, future social workers stand ready to uplift their communities.

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫

On March 31, 2026, the City of Malabon University successfully conducted the seminar entitled, “𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫.” The activity aimed to raise awareness and disseminate vital information concerning national security issues.

The National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) provided an insightful discussion on the history of the West Philippine Sea (WPS), Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs), and the issue of terror grooming—topics that shape our nation’s present and future. The event was attended by 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, who actively participated in the discussions and learning sessions.

𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 is a process where individuals, often the youth are gradually influenced, manipulated, and recruited into extremist ideologies and groups. This grooming does not happen abruptly; rather, it unfolds subtly through emotional appeal, misinformation, and the exploitation of personal vulnerabilities such as identity struggles, injustice, or the desire for belonging. Whereas, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 (𝐂𝐓𝐆𝐬) have historically employed such strategies, particularly targeting students and young individuals who are in a critical stage of forming their beliefs and values. By presenting distorted narratives about social issues, inequality, and governance, these groups attempt to gain sympathy and eventually recruit members who may not initially recognize the long-term consequences of their involvement.

The danger of being influenced lies in how these groups reshape one’s perception of reality. Students may begin to justify harmful actions, believing they are part of a greater cause, while unknowingly compromising their safety, future, and personal freedom. Moreover, involvement in such groups can lead to legal consequences, psychological distress, and irreversible life changes.

As students, it is crucial to remain critical, informed, and grounded in factual knowledge.

On March 23, 2026, at City of Malabon University, the Luminary Group from Bachelor of Science in Social Work – 3A, in collaboration with the Student Affairs and Services Office, successfully conducted their first seminar entitled "Stand Strong, Speak Loud: A Seminar on Anti-Bullying Awareness and Action."

The seminar aimed to educate participants about the foundational knowledge of bullying, including its different types and harmful effects on emotional, mental, and social well-being. It also sought to help attendees understand the current situation and existing problems related to bullying at the Philippine and international levels, emphasizing its impact on students and school communities. Additionally, it aimed to familiarize them with the legal basis, safety measures, and response protocols concerning bullying, including school policies and appropriate actions for preventing and addressing incidents.

The seminar was facilitated by Ms. Ma. Angelica S. Castillo, a compassionate Medical Social Worker at Valenzuela Medical Center who is deeply committed to empowering vulnerable women, children, and families in Valenzuela City.

The resource person focused on developing and raising awareness about bullying. She also promoted effective prevention strategies and discussed the different forms of bullying. She highlighted the need for collective action within the community to stop bullying.

She also discussed how social workers serve as advocates in promoting safe and inclusive environments, especially in schools and communities.

The seminar reinforced the idea that addressing bullying requires continuous effort, cooperation, and strong commitment from social workers and the community as a whole.

The seminar ended with a call to action: "Bullying has no place in any community—silence allows it, action stops it. Let this be a commitment to stand firm against bullying and to promote kindness at all times. Together, awareness becomes change, and change creates impact."

In celebration of 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝟯𝗔 – 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮 successfully conducted their 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 in collaboration with the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗢) entitled “𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗛𝘂𝗿𝘁: 𝗔 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 (𝗩𝗔𝗪𝗖)” on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The seminar opened with 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 from distinguished guests who expressed their support for initiatives that promote awareness and protection against violence. Words of encouragement and support were shared by 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘈𝘧𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗛𝗮𝘇𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗻, 𝗗𝗕𝗔, 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗼, 𝗢𝗜𝗖-𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗔. 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗷𝗮, 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗽𝗮 𝗢𝗻𝗮, 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗼 and 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼. Their messages emphasized the importance of educating the youth about healthy relationships, gender sensitivity, and the collective responsibility of the community in addressing 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 (𝗩𝗔𝗪𝗖).

The event was also graced by the presence of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗶 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘀-𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮, 𝗥𝗦𝗪, 𝗠𝗠𝗣𝗠, adviser of 𝗝𝗦𝗪𝗔𝗣–𝗖𝗠𝗨, who attended the seminar in support of the initiative and the advocacy of promoting awareness on Violence Against Women and Children.

The highlight of the seminar was the insightful discussion delivered by the 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗚. 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗿, 𝗥𝗦𝗪, 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗜𝗜, who shared her expertise and experiences in handling cases related to 𝗩𝗔𝗪𝗖. Her talk focused on recognizing the signs of unhealthy and abusive relationships, understanding the realities faced by victims, and promoting awareness about the rights and protection available for women and children.

The activity gathered 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, who actively participated in the discussion, reflecting their commitment to promoting awareness, advocacy, and support for individuals who may experience violence or abuse.

As part of the 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, the seminar also served as a platform to empower students and future social workers to become advocates for 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻.

The program concluded with 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗴-𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗺, 𝗥𝗦𝗪, 𝗠𝗦𝗦𝗪, who emphasized the relevance of 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 in addressing issues related to 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 (𝗩𝗔𝗪𝗖) and promoting social justice. She highlighted key concepts such as 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗪𝗜𝗗), 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗪𝗔𝗗), and 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗚𝗔𝗗) as important frameworks in understanding women’s empowerment and gender equality.

She also presented a visual illustration showing that 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗔𝗪𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, while 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀. Through this, she encouraged participants to take an active role in spreading knowledge and advocating for safer communities.

Furthermore, she introduced the concept of the 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗻, encouraging participants to apply 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 in their own communities by 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆, 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, and 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 for those who may experience violence. Her message served as a powerful reminder of the responsibility of future social workers and student leaders to become compassionate advocates for change.

Through initiatives like this, the organizers from 𝗕𝗦𝗦𝗪 𝟯𝗔 – 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮 reaffirm their commitment to social work values and to spreading the message that 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁—𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘀. ✨💜
