When disaster strikes, heroes come in all forms. Some wear uniforms, some carry equipment, and some have four paws and an extraordinary nose for saving lives.

Join us for The How’s of Vets 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟯: 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 as we explore the incredible role of K-9 Search and Rescue teams in building disaster-resilient communities.

Hear firsthand from K9 SAR volunteers 𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 “𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗶” 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲 and 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗺 “𝗔𝗯𝗲” 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 as they share their experiences in the field, the realities of disaster response, and how trained canines become invaluable partners during emergencies.

As future veterinarians, gain insights into the intersection of animal welfare, emergency preparedness, and community service, and discover how veterinary medicine can contribute to resilience efforts beyond the clinic.

𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | The residents of SAVER/Lady SAVER embarked on 𝘈𝘋𝘝𝘌𝘕𝘛𝘜𝘙𝘌 𝘗𝘈𝘞𝘚: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘈𝘝𝘌𝘙 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘘𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵 at the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) Shelter, carrying out activities centered on compassion, teamwork, and animal welfare. 🐾⚔️

Residents worked together in feeding, cleaning and caring for the shelter animals, creating a safer and more comfortable environment for the furry residents of PAWS. The event was a testament to the organization’s dedication to service and its advocacy for responsible and compassionate animal care.

Beyond the tasks accomplished, the outreach fostered camaraderie, empathy, and a deeper appreciation for the importance of community involvement in animal welfare initiatives. Every shared effort became a reminder that even simple acts of kindness can create meaningful impact. ✨
