Hello, Lasallian Educators!

Your College of Education Student Councils would love to hear about your educational experiences and reflections.

It's an elation to have Alexa Del Rosario, and Alynna Tigno, both entering 2nd-year students, offer their perspectives.

Alexa Del Rosario:
Before enrolling in DLSAU as an education student, I still had hesitations about whether I wanted to become a teacher, because I am not the best in public speaking and I always get nervous whenever I have to report something; but being surrounded by talented and supportive classmates; and amazing professors, I was able to get out of my comfort zone and I am gradually gaining the confidence I need to become an effective teacher in the future.

Alynna Tigno:
Online classes are so hard for me especially in the first week because I'm still adjusting to the new normal setting. Sometimes I also have trouble with my internet connection. Despite all of the struggles, I'm so thankful for my professors because they are so considerate. I also learned a lot from them and I learned to become more confident through the reports that they are assigning to us. I'm also grateful for the new friends that I have. I love studying with them. I also appreciate the efforts of all of my professors in doing their best just to help us learn and grow more. My experience as a freshmen student is hard but there are also good times. I also learned to become more productive and never procrastinate.

We offer you the Bachelor of Secondary Education

Hello, Lasallian Educators! πŸ‘‹

Your College of Education Student Councils would love to hear about your educational experiences and reflections.

It's an elation to have Ghrycie Gil, an entering 2nd-year student, and John Brent Rivera, an incoming 3rd-year student, offer their perspectives.

Ghrycie Gil:
β€œMy DLSAU experience has been out of this world and I couldn’t have asked for a better university opportunity. Having to study whilst living in a different country, the professors and classmates I had understood my situation and made my adjusting period as easy as possible. Everyone has been so warm and kind through my first year and I’m so happy to once again be a part of a close-knit Filipino community. The academics itself is interesting and challenging, the classes are not only stimulating the students’ thirst for knowledge but as well as hone our different skill sets!”

John Brent Rivera:
Education was never a dream for me; it was far-off. I met some inspiring teachers in DLSAU who encouraged me to change my life and who helped me to thrive. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

We offer you the Bachelor of Secondary Education
-Major in English

Hello, Lasallian Educators!

Your College of Education Student Councils would love to hear about your educational experiences and reflections.

It's an elation to have Mary Rios Villacarlos, an entering 2nd-year student, and Chinnie Soriano and Lowell John Gapi, incoming 3rd-year students, offer their perspectives.

Mary Rios Villacarlos:
As an Educ student, it was challenging for me to have an online class set up as a freshman but luckily, I am enrolled in the university wherein professors give a lot of consideration, proper lectures, and good materials in our classes so we can understand clearly everything that is needed. I am an active student leader in the university and I am very impressed with how they train students. Well basically being an Educ student, you always aim to enhance yourself and give your best to your future students. In my experiences, I have gained a lot of realization that taught me as a student to become better and focus more on the goal as a teacher in the future generation.

Chinnie Soriano:
My first choice is not to be a teacher. Regardless, my professors at De La Salle Araneta University's College of Education made me accept it and appreciate the course. It's not simple since nothing in this world is easy, but I'm grateful to all of my professors for helping me grow into the person I am today and molding me into a dedicated student. What if I don't pursue this course? I used to think about it a lot. What if I pick the course that I want to take? However, the training itself helped me realize that teaching is a calling from God and it must be a passion. I also had various doubts about myself, and at some point in my life, I felt that I was unworthy of this course. However, I continue to dream that one day I will be able to pass on my expertise to my future students. Padayon! ✨

Lowell John Gapi:
SY 2020 - 2021 was full of surprises. I learned so much about how to cope at home whilst still being a student. I would say that I improved in some aspects of myself and change for the better due to my experiences in online learning. As an aspiring teacher one day, I understand the challenges our educators have to adapt to during these times. I have found a new sense of respect for them for they are people that I can describe as one of the strongest and would still pursue quality education to us for a better future. Aside from that, this school year was full of ups and downs; But beyond that lies the realization of how important are our classmates to us for without them this overall experience would be unbearable.

Regardless of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to provide high-quality education and ensure that no youth is left behind. We are, after all, in this together. So, what do you have to lose? Become a member of our expanding family!
