The activity served as Phase 1 of ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ท๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐—”๐—•๐—ข๐—ง (๐—”๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—•๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ข๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ง๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜„), an initiative of BADS that aims to raise awareness, provide guidance, and help aspiring scholars prepare for DOST-SEI scholarship opportunities.

The two-hour session began with the orientation proper, spearheaded by ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐…๐ซ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ, Regional Director of the ๐—ก๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ป ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ผ ๐—”๐˜€๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐——๐—ข๐—ฆ๐—ง-๐—ฆ๐—˜๐—œ ๐—ฆ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜€ (NMADS), followed by a presentation of frequently asked questions (FAQs) led by ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐…๐ž๐ซ๐ง ๐€๐ข๐ฅ๐š ๐‹. ๐€๐ฌ๐ขรฑ๐ž๐ซ๐จ, Deputy Director for External Affairs of NMADS. The session concluded with an open discussion, allowing participants to raise their concerns and have their questions addressed. Through the session, students gained clearer insights into the scholarship and were better prepared for the application and examination process.

The festival featured a Quiz Bowl, SciMath Olympics, Trashion Show, and Booth Exhibits, providing students with opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, and appreciation of science and mathematics.
