As part of the celebration of National Tourism Month 2026, the Municipality of Malimono conducted the Symposium on Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism on September 23, 2026, at the Surigao del Norte State University โ€“ Malimono Campus.

The symposium brought together student leaders of SNSUโ€“Malimono Campus to explore how digital transformation and artificial intelligence can contribute to the future of tourism, while highlighting the importance of Safe Tourism and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).

Through the open forum and discussions, participants gained insights into the role of technology, innovation, and leadership in promoting innovative, safe, and sustainable tourism practices in the community.
