A new journey begins beneath the waves of knowledge! 🌊💚

On September 25, 2026, the Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology (BSMB) welcomed its first-year students during the BSMB 1st Year Orientation held at the SNSU Malimono Gymnasium.

The orientation provided our freshmen with an opportunity to become more familiar with the BSMB program, its academic journey, student involvement, and the experiences that await them as future marine biologists. More than an introduction to the program, it was a chance to build connections, share excitement, and take the first step toward becoming part of the BSMB community.

𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄 | Work and classes at all campuses of Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) will be 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 on August 31, 2026, pursuant to Malacañan Palace Proclamation No. 1006, in observance of National Heroes Day.

National Heroes Day honors the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of Filipino heroes who dedicated their lives to the country’s freedom and independence. The day also serves as a reminder of the enduring values of service, courage, and love of country embodied by the nation’s heroes.

Regular work and classes will resume on the next working day.

📌 IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Attendance at UNO 2026 is MANDATORY for all NEW STUDENTS and RETURNEES of SNSU Malimono Campus. Attendance will be checked and recorded. Please check your Certificate of Registration (COR) and bring your COR with you.

🎓 Continuing students are also welcome and encouraged to attend as a refresher on university policies, student services, academic guidelines, and other important information.
