Successful OJT Deployment 2026 | DENRβSIPLAS PAMO, Del Carmen, Siargao
The Placement Office of Surigao del Norte State University β Malimono Campus successfully deployed another batch of On-the-Job Training (OJT) students (15 Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology students) to the DENRβSiargao Islands Protected Landscapes and Seascapes Protected Area Management Office (SIPLASβPAMO) in Del Carmen, Siargao.
The deployment was facilitated by Ms. Luziel B. Bernadez, who accompanied the student-trainees and ensured their smooth endorsement to the host agency. Through this internship, the students will gain valuable practical experience in protected area management, coastal and marine resource conservation, biodiversity protection, and environmental governance.
The Placement Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to DENRβSIPLAS PAMO for welcoming our students and providing them with a meaningful experiential learning opportunity. We likewise express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Rowena A. Plando, University President; Dr. Jerry B. Acero, Campus Director; and Ms. Bonife A.
