His assassination at Manila International Airport became a defining moment in the countryโ€™s history and helped awaken a powerful movement for democracy.

But Ninoyโ€™s legacy is not only about how his life endedโ€”it is about the courage to come home, to speak up, and to stand for what he believed in.
