Sa harap ng mga limitasyon ng ating sistema at mga pagsubok sa kabuhayan, ang inyong tatag at dedikasyon ay hindi kailanman matatawaran. Ang inyong hindi matitinag na tapang ang nagsisilbing pundasyon ng lipunan.

Sa bawat umagang kayo'y gumigising para sa trabaho, may kaakibat na sakripisyo. Subalit taas-noo ninyo itong hinaharap, para sa pamilya, para sa pangarap, at para sa bayan.

Tuwing Mayo 1, ginugunita natin ang Labor Day, bilang pagkilala sa pandaigdigang kilusan mula 1903 hanggang ngayon na patuloy lumalaban para sa makatarungang sahod, makataong kondisyon, at dignidad sa paggawa.
