TURNING THE PAGE! ๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ“–

The BulSU Journalism Society officially held its online turnover on Monday, June 15, marking the beginning of the term of its new set of officers for Academic Year (AY) 2026โ€“2027.

The activity concluded the term of the outgoing governing body led by former President Sofia Margarette Magno and Vice President John David Rondina, together with the rest of the officers.

Leading the new Executive Board are Micailla Isidro as President and Harvey Sabado as Vice President for Administration.

Joining them in the Higher Board are Isis Jade Mugas as Vice President for Finance and Alaina Guinto as Vice President for External Affairs and Services.

Also serving as part of the Executive Board are Arjhay Miraflor and Eugin Albert Fajardo as Public Information Officers; Precious Irish Gomez as 2nd Year Representative; Mary Jocel Nota as 3rd Year Representative; and Esther Clarisse Francisco as 4th Year Representative.

With the turnover, the new leadership team reiterates its commitment to continue and expand the organizationโ€™s initiatives for its members and the wider student community.

CONGRATULATIONS, MGA KATALISTA! ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŽ“

The College of Arts and Letters (CAL) senior students graduated at TAYOG during the universityโ€™s commencement rites themed โ€œPag-angat ng Kakayahan at Kaalaman Tungo sa Maunlad at Makabagong Pilipinasโ€ this Tuesday, June 9.

Senator Paolo Benigno โ€œBamโ€ Aquino IV served as guest speaker, urging graduates to use their voices for reform and to become catalysts for change.

A total of 310 CAL graduates joined the ceremony alongside 549 graduates from the College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT) and 256 graduates from the College of Nursing (CON).

The event highlighted not only the academic achievements of the graduates but also the universityโ€™s commitment to shaping future leaders equipped with knowledge, compassion, and civic responsibility.

The event honored the organizations recognized in the QUEST Awards, celebrated the Top 15 student organizations, and acknowledged all 104 student-led organizations for their valuable contributions to the university.

Among the recognized organizations was The BulSU Journalism Society (JOURNSOC), which proudly received a completion award.

The event also highlights the beginning of a new wave of chapter in student leadership as OSOA formally concluded the term of the outgoing executive board officers and officially introduced the Executive Board XVIII for the Office Year 2026-2027.
