Hi everyone!

I’m inviting you and your colleagues to join us for the “Executive Program on Artificial Intelligence for SUCs and LUCs,” a 10-day intensive, face-to-face training hosted by Bulacan State University under the CHED HUSAY Program.

This is an excellent opportunity for computing, engineering, and technical faculty to gain hands-on experience in advanced AI, IoT, and Edge Computing specifically tailored for higher education.

Central Luzon continues to gain ground in the global higher education landscape as six (6) Higher Education Institutions from the region have attained Reporter Status in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2026—doubling from three (3) HEIs in 2025.

This significant increase reflects the region’s steady progress in academic visibility, institutional development, and international engagement. It also signals that more HEIs in Central Luzon are stepping onto the global stage and contributing to the broader discourse of higher education in Asia.

This achievement directly aligns with the Commission's ACHIEVE Agenda, particularly Inclusive and Impact-Driven Internationalization, underscoring the commitment of Philippine higher education institutions to expand global linkages and strengthen international competitiveness.

CHEDRO III commends these institutions for this noteworthy milestone and encourages all HEIs in the region to continue striving for excellence and thriving in the international landscape. This achievement marks a meaningful step forward in strengthening Region III’s presence and recognition worldwide.

The Bulacan State University Internationalization Office, together with the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), officially announces the successful conduct of the ceremonial program strengthening academic collaboration with Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY). Representing University President Dr. Teody C. San Andres was Dr. Warlito R. Galita, Vice President for Academic Affairs, whose presence underscored BulSU’s steadfast commitment to advancing internationalization and fostering global academic partnerships.

The program featured the comprehensive explanation of BulSU’s internationalization initiatives by Mr. Noel T. Franco Jr., Director of the Internationalization Office, alongside the inspiring message of commitment from Prof. Dr. Theresia Anita Christiani, Dean of the Faculty of Law at UAJY. Also present were College Dean Atty. Rolando Padilla Garcia, Program Chair Atty. Janine Crystal Sayo-Villavicencio, College Associate Dean Dr. Mary Grace L. Salvador, and CCJE faculty representative Mr. Romeo I. Suguilon, whose collective participation reflects BulSU’s unified dedication to nurturing meaningful collaborations.

The signing ceremony, awarding of certificates and tokens, and fellowship activities further affirmed BulSU’s prestige as a leading institution committed to delivering world-class opportunities, strengthening academic linkages, and ensuring global readiness for its students.

The Bulacan State University Internationalization Office officially announces the successful conduct of a courtesy call to University President Dr. Teody C. San Andres at the Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP) Bustos Campus. This significant engagement reinforces BulSU’s steadfast commitment to advancing internationalization initiatives and ensuring that its 11 student interns are fully supported as they prepare for global industry immersion.

Accompanying President San Andres were Internationalization Office Director Mr. Noel T. Franco Jr., Head of Faculty and Student Mobility Mr. Christian Mediran, Head of Global Partnerships and Networks Dr. Gladilyn D. Garcia-Dulay, and SIAP Bustos Campus Focal Person Mr. Ken Torres. Their collective presence reflects BulSU’s unified dedication to guiding and supporting student interns as they embark on their international journey.
