Stage 1 Success! πŸŽ‰πŸ“š

The BulSU e-Library successfully participated in the Stage 1 Certification Audit for ISO 21001:2025 Educational Organizations Management Systems (EOMS) conducted on October 2, 2026. βœ…

For the BulSU e-Library, the Stage 1 audit began with a review of relevant documents and organizational information. The audit also included a review of the CRBM processes, the library’s collection records, and the availability of resources. The audit team also reviewed the library’s facilities and user-support services, including the Relaxation and Individual Study Rooms. Photographs documenting these facilities were presented, along with discussions on the monitoring, maintenance, and cleanliness of these spaces. πŸ’πŸ“–

Other important areas reviewed included the library’s Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Risk and Opportunity Assessment (ROA), which support the library’s commitment to maintaining quality services while proactively identifying risks and opportunities for improvement. The audit further examined the library’s information dissemination and user orientation initiatives, highlighting our efforts to ensure that patrons are properly informed about available library services and resources. The plagiarism check request service was likewise discussed, including its supporting documentation and recently processed requests. πŸ”πŸ“‹

Overall, the Stage 1 audit provided the BulSU e-Library with a valuable opportunity to demonstrate its existing systems, processes, resources, facilities, and services, while also identifying areas for continuous improvement and further strengthening. 🌱✨

The Bulacan State University has been assessed as READY to proceed to the Stage 2 Certification Audit. πŸŽ―πŸ†

The BulSU e-Library extends its sincere appreciation to the Information and Communications Technology Office (ICTO) for conducting a Virtual End-User Training and taking the time to orient and train our librarians and staff on the features, functionalities, and digital library services of the Automated Library Transaction System (ALTS). πŸ€πŸ“šπŸ’»

The training highlighted several key features of the system, including:
-Facility Reservations
-Blackout Date Management
-Academic Forms
-Lost and Found Services

This training is a valuable opportunity for the BulSU e-Library to further enhance the way we assist and serve our patrons. Through the ALTS, our patrons can conveniently access services such as event and facility reservations, plagiarism check requests, and lost-and-found services.

We are grateful to everyone behind this innovation, particularly the Information Systems and Cybersecurity Unit (ISCU), headed by Sir Alejandro B. Burgos Jr., under the leadership of ICTO Director Engr. Lester Phil M. Cruz.

Thank you for empowering us with the knowledge and tools to serve the BulSU community even better! ✨

Celebrating World Architecture Day 2026! πŸ›οΈπŸŽ‰

The BulSU e-Library joins the global celebration of World Architecture Day 2026, carrying this year's meaningful theme: "Housing is a Human Right. Build it." 🏠🌍

This year's theme brings to light today's housing problems. It encourages architects, planners, policymakers, and communities not only to focus on aesthetics but also to create spaces that support affordability, social inclusion, dignity, security, and sustainability. 🌱🀝

Architecture is more than designing buildings, but it is also about creating homes, communities, and environments where people can thrive. Through thoughtful design, research, innovation, and advocacy, architects have the power to help shape a more inclusive and sustainable future. βœ¨πŸ—οΈ

Today, we also proudly celebrate our Filipino architects whose creativity, expertise, and dedication continue to shape the spaces and communities we call home. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡πŸ’™

We also salute our BulSUan architecture students, the future architects, designers, and innovators who will carry the profession forward and help build a more inclusive, sustainable, and human-centered future. πŸ“

Please know that the BulSU e-Library supports learning, research, and the future architects who will build a better world. πŸ“šπŸ’‘

Again, happy World Architecture Day! May your ideas be bold, your designs be purposeful, and your vision always centered on the people you serve. ✨

πŸ“š Happy Teachers’ Day to all our amazing educators! 🍎✨

To all our Professors, Teachers, Ma’ams, Sirs, Doc, and to whatever name we lovingly call you by, your students thank you for being more than just educators. You have become the second parents of BulSUans, guiding, inspiring, and supporting our students throughout their stay here at BulSU. ❀️

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, wisdom, and experience with all the BulSUans. Thank you for being patient, dedicated, understanding, and committed to helping them learn and grow. Your teachings go beyond the four corners of the classroom; they build dreams, boost self-confidence, and make them better people for the future. πŸŒ±πŸ“–

Today, we celebrate and honor all of YOU, the educators who continuously shed light to the way of knowledge and the future ahead. 🌟

From the BulSU eLibrary, thank you for everything you do for our students and BulSU community. ❀️‍πŸ”₯

In line with Memorandum Circular No. 134, s. 2026, we join the celebration of the 34th National Family Week, highlighting the importance of the family as the foundation of love, connection, and support. β€οΈπŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦

This year, we are reminded of the simple yet meaningful tradition of sharing a meal with our loved ones, a precious opportunity for parents, guardians, and children to connect, share stories, listen to one another, and strengthen family bonds. 🍽️

To give everyone the opportunity to spend quality time with their families, work and classes will be suspended starting at 1:00 PM. ⏰

Let us take this time to pause from our busy schedules and make room for what truly matters, time with the people we love.
