Using regression analysis, the study found that body esteem significantly predicted exercise confidence among Filipino college students. The findings highlight the role of positive self-perception in shaping studentsโ€™ confidence to engage in physical activity, emphasizing the importance of psychological factors in Physical Education and student development.

By advancing evidence on exercise behavior and student well-being in higher education, this research contributes to global development efforts aligned with Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), 4 (Quality Education), and 5 (Gender Equality).

Using multiple regression analysis, the study found that individual interest significantly predicts study engagement among university students learning the indigenous martial art of Arnis, highlighting how culturally grounded movement practices can strengthen motivation, participation and appreciation of Filipino cultural heritage in Physical Education.
