Through the ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป facilitated by ๐พ๐๐๐พ and ๐พ๐๐พ๐พ officers, our fisherfolk community were given the space to share their stories, experiences, and daily challenges, reminding us of the importance of truly understanding their realities through genuine conversation and active listening.
Meanwhile, the seminar โ๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ฉ ๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ช๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ฉ๐: ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฃ๐ช๐๐๐ฎ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฅ๐๐ก๐๐ ๐ ๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐โ hosted by ๐๐ ๐ & ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฃ shared practical lessons on marketing and improving sales, opening ways for participants to grow their livelihood and income opportunities.
As student leaders, this initiative reinforces the responsibility to support meaningful community extension activities that foster both learning and empowerment. It reminds us that community work is not just about organizing programs, but about showing up and listening with sincerity โ especially to communities who carry stories of resilience, hard work, and quiet strength every day.
The experience became a reminder of why we serve. Beyond the outputs and activities, it is the human connections, the shared learning, and the trust built with the community that truly matter. It is in their stories, their everyday struggles, and their hope for better opportunities that we find the true meaning of service โ and the reason we continue to show up.
