The Department of Tourism - Region III (DOT Region III) spearheads the Central Luzon nominations in the World Travel Awards for the second time. Relative to this, the DOT Region III campaigns for two (2) destinations in the following categories:

• Clark Freeport Zone - Asia's Leading Meeting and Conference Destination 2026

• Subic Bay Freeport Zone - Asia's Responsible Tourism Award 2026

The College of Hospitality and Tourism Management proudly celebrates the remarkable journey of our esteemed Hospitality Management student, 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐒. 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐣𝐨 from BSHM 3A, for representing the CHTM community in the prestigious Cultural Exchange Program in China hosted by the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII).

Selected as one of the 17 student participants from Bulacan State University — composed of 10 students from the Main Campus and 7 students from the Bustos Campus — Seth embarked on a meaningful 10-day cultural journey across Zhejiang Province, China from May 9–18. Throughout the program, the exchange students explored four vibrant cities, visited universities and cultural museums, and experienced the rich blend of Chinese arts, innovation, traditions, and technology firsthand. 🇨🇳✨

More than a trip across borders, the experience became a journey of learning, growth, and connection. From discovering Chinese cuisine and traditions to understanding their lifestyle, routines, and communication practices, Seth gained valuable experiences that strengthened his confidence in interacting with people from different nationalities — an essential quality in the field of Hospitality Management.

Beyond the places visited and lessons learned, the Cultural Exchange Program created unforgettable memories, meaningful friendships, and global perspectives that will last a lifetime. The CHTM family is truly proud of your achievement and for carrying the spirit of excellence, leadership, and Filipino hospitality on an international stage. 🌏🤝
