[𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝗸𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝗸𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗵𝗶𝘆𝗼]

Noong ika-28 ng Abril, pormal na nakipagpulong ang bagong halal na Lokal na Konseho ng Kolehiyo ng Narsing sa Lokal na Administrasyon. Isa itong mahalagang hakbang upang igiit ang pamumunong bukas sa dayalogo, may pananagutan, at nakaugat sa kolektibong paghubog ng mga programa at polisiya.

Sa naturang pagpupulong, inilatag ng konseho ang mga panukalang programa para sa panibagong termino. Kasabay nito, ipinahayag din ang pagtindig ng konseho sa mga mahahalagang isyung kinakaharap ng Kolehiyo, sapagkat ang boses ng mag-aaral ay dapat na kinikilala rin sa mismong mesa ng desisyon.

Nagbigay rin ng patnubay at suporta ang Lokal na Administrasyon hinggil sa pagpapatuloy ng mga inisyatibang nasimulan noong nakaraang termino. Binigyang-linaw din ang mga prosesong kailangang pagdaanan ng mga panibagong panukala upang matiyak ang wastong konsultasyon at pagsusuri bago ito maisakatuparan.

Vice Governor Jilliane Salandanan, Head of the Local Legislative Branch of the College of Nursing, hereby issues Legislative Body Memorandum No. 001, Series of 2026, formally convening all Board Members of the CON Local Student Council for their 1st Legislative Body Meeting.

This meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 06, 2026, at exactly 8:00 in the evening via Google Meet.

The primary agenda will be the Appointment of Local Chairpersons on Standing and Special Committees.

All Board Members are required to attend and are expected to be punctual and fully prepared for the proceedings.

Naganap ang pormal na handover session ng Lokal na Konseho ng Kolehiyo ng Narsing para sa Akademikong Taon 2026–2027 sa Nutri Room, Pimentel Hall noong Abril 22, 2025, ganap na ika-7:00 ng gabi.

Higit pa sa simpleng pagpapasa ng tungkulin, ito ay pagpapatuloy ng isang konsehong handang tumindig para sa mga Iskonars; ipaglaban ang kanilang kapakanan, igiit ang kanilang mga karapatan, at palakasin ang kanilang kolektibong boses. Isang paninindigang nakaugat sa pananagutan at tunay na paglilingkod sa bayan.

Sa pagtatapos ng kanilang termino, taos-pusong pasasalamat ang iniaalay sa mga lider na naglatag ng pundasyon tungo sa isang maka-estudyanteng pamumuno—hindi lamang sa salita, kundi sa gawa.

Isa sa pangunahing problema ng Pilipinas ay ang patuloy na suliranin ng mga manggagawa. Sila ang haligi ng ating ekonomiya, ngunit nananatiling sila rin ang pinakaapi sa sistema.

Dugo at pawis ang kanilang puhunan sa pagpapatakbo ng lipunan, pero hanggang ngayon, mababa pa rin ang kita at kulang ang proteksyon na dapat natatamasa nila.

Pero sa kabila ng walang humpay na paggawa, nananatiling mababa ang sahod, mataas ang presyo, at kulang ang pagkilala. Huwag na tayong lumayo, isa sa mga isyung ito ay ang kinakaharap ng mga nurses at healthcare workers na overloaded sa trabaho pero hindi sapat ang sahod at suporta dahil sa bulok na sistema.

Isang Taon ng Serbisyo, Pakikibaka, at Paninindigan ✊

Sa pagtatapos ng aming termino bilang CON Local Student Council A.Y. 2025-2026, inihahain namin ang aming Accomplishment Report—isang buod ng sama-samang pagkilos, paglilingkod, at pakikipaglaban para sa kapakanan ng IskoNARS at ng mas malawak na komunidad.

Mula sa mga proyektong pang-estudyante sa loob ng pamantasan hanggang sa mga adbokasiya para sa makatarungang edukasyon at panlipunang isyu, patuloy naming isinulong ang boses ng mag-aaral—hindi lamang sa loob ng kampus, kundi hanggang sa lansangan.

Hindi ito pagtatapos, kundi pagpapatuloy ng laban.
Ang aming mga nagawa ay bunga ng kolektibong lakas ng bawat IskoNARS.

Legislative Report
College of Nursing Student Council

As the term concludes, the Office of the Vice Governor, Randydao Mallari, presents the legislative accomplishments of the College of Nursing Student Council, highlighting the approved resolutions authored by members of the legislative body.

Board Member Rovy Zafra demonstrated active legislative engagement, successfully passing a total of eight (8 ) resolutions—comprising three (3) non-financial resolutions and five (5) financial resolutions.

Meanwhile, Board Member Jetlyn Rose Castor authored and passed four (4) financial resolutions, primarily focused on strengthening academic support and student welfare.

Collectively, these legislative efforts reflect a responsive and proactive council, one that translates student concerns into concrete policies and actionable programs. Each resolution passed stands as a commitment fulfilled, reinforcing the role of the legislative body in advancing the welfare, accessibility, and holistic development of every nursing student.

As this term comes to a close, the Office reaffirms its dedication to principled leadership, accountability, and service anchored in the genuine needs of the student body.

From policy to practice, from resolution to reality.

Through Resolution No. 2, s. 2025, “Safety Bookshelf and Provision of Essential Nursing Books—NANDA and Drug Handbook,” authored by Board Member Jetlyn Rose Castor, and Resolution No. 6, s. 2025, “Bantay Ulan: Raincoat, Rain Boots, and Umbrella Support Project,” authored by Board Member Rovy Zafras, the Local Student Council has successfully turned its commitments into concrete action.

As a result, the council procured a total of ten (10) raincoats, thirteen (13) umbrellas, and two (2) pairs of rain boots under the Bantay Ulan project. In addition, two (2) NANDA Nursing Diagnosis books, two (2) Drug Handbooks, and one (1) bookshelf were acquired to support the academic needs of nursing students.

These efforts reflect the council’s commitment to providing accessible resources and practical support—ensuring that both the academic and day-to-day needs of student nurses are addressed.

Mula kampus tungo sa lansangan—kalingang hindi nagtatapos sa apat na sulok at haligi ng mga ospital.

Sa pamamagitan ng CONmunity Pantry: “Mula Kampus Tungo sa Lansangan”, nagkaisa ang Lokal na Konseho ng mga Mag-aaral, katuwang ang Katipunan Student Movement CON at lahat ng organisasyon ng Kolehiyo ng Narsing, upang maghatid ng tulong at malasakit sa komunidad.

Sapagkat ang tunay na pag-aalaga ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa loob ng ward o silid, ito ay umaabot, nakikiisa, at kumikilos para sa kapwa saan man sila naroroon.

Kalingang lumalabas sa kampus, kumikilos sa lansangan, at naglilingkod sa sambayanan.
