HISTORY OF THE STUDENT ORGANIZATION

The Riffs and Rhymes Musical Organization was established on July 10, 2013 by its current officers, Darren M. Caralipio – Vice President, Jan Rafhael R. Valdez – Secretary, Mark Joseph L. Fortes – Treasurer, Jaypee M. Manalo – Auditor, Gison L. Mendoza – PRO, Alexis L. Antioquia – Business Manager, and Janree F. Dorosan – Sgt. The name of the organization was n

amed by Alexis L. Antioquia, the organization’s business manager. The organization was made for the reason that the founders wanted to unite each and every band in the BatStateU Malvar Campus. The founders came up to the name Riffs and Rhymes, Riffs which was derived from the musical scales and the way how you play it, and Rhymes correspond in terminal sounds of units of composition or utterance.
