The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension (OVCRE) successfully convened the 2026 ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ on July 7 at the CFOS AV Hall, bringing together faculty members, Research, Extension and Professional Staff (REPS), project personnel, and stakeholders for a full day of dialogue aimed at strengthening research, creative work, innovation, and public service across the University.

The session concluded with a presentation by ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ซ ๐. ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ of the Supply and Property Services Office (SPSO), who introduced updates on the implementation of Republic Act No. 12009, the UPV SPSO Process Flow, procurement planning, market scoping, and other procurement reforms. Beyond the presentations, the Town Hall served as a venue for meaningful dialogue through its open forum sessions. Questions on procurement timelines, travel claims, reimbursements, project implementation, and funding procedures were addressed, allowing participants to clarify concerns while offering recommendations for improving institutional systems.
