The Junior Philippine Computer Society - José Rizal University Chapter or JPCS - JRU (previously known as JRU Computer Society) is a student organization in José Rizal University and a recognized chapter of the Junior Philippine Computer Society National Incorporated, founded in January 1989. We aim to promote the moral, social and intellectual advancement of students in the various fields of comp

uter studies, in order to build a community composed of responsible computer individuals. OBJECTIVES
The JPCS - JRU Chapter adheres to the following objectives:
(a.) To develop academically the Computer Society members and adopt such measures as may be necessary to promote a scholarly environment essential to educational growth. To accelerate the students’ consciousness through various local and national activities to make them responsible and well-rounded individuals. To promote cooperative effort within the JPCS - JRU Chapter community for successful
implementation of departmental undertakings.

Following the announcement of the City Government of Mandaluyong, face-to-face classes for all levels are suspended on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Learning will continue through online modalities.

For examinations scheduled tomorrow:
• Senior High School examinations will be moved to Monday, August 24, 2026.
• College and Law School examinations will be moved to Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
• Graduate School Enrollment will proceed during regular business hours
• Offices will be operational during regular business hours
