𝘿𝘼𝙔 3 | 𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝘼𝙇 𝙀𝙉𝙑𝙄𝙍𝙊𝙉𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼𝙇 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙏𝙃 𝙇𝙀𝘼𝘿𝙀𝙍𝙎' 𝙎𝙐𝙈𝙈𝙄𝙏 2026

On Day 3 of NEYLS, participants from different colleges were divided into four groups for the Nature Encounter. The first team conducted an Information and Educational Campaign, teaching fishermen about the Republic Acts related to fishing. Meanwhile, the second team carried out a coastal clean-up drive, with participants assigned to clean the coastal area in Balud, Masbate. The third team was assigned to Sea Ranching, while the fourth team went to Danao, Balud, Masbate to plant mangroves.

Day 3 focused on environmental actions based on the knowledge gained during the Day 1 and Day 2 discussions of the speakers. Additionally, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Elreen Delavin, delivered a message about NEYLS 2026, emphasizing the roles of youth in protecting the marine ecosystem.

The College of Arts and Sciences College Students Council (CASCSC) officers, together with the CBO Presidents, participated in the National Environmental Youth Leaders’ Summit 2026 held at Beatriz Rafaela Resort, Panubigan, Balud, Masbate. The activity gathered youth eco-leaders from different colleges and universities to strengthen collaboration and promote environmental awareness, particularly on issues affecting marine ecosystems and coastal communities.

The first day concluded with valuable knowledge shared by the keynote speaker and plenary speakers, who emphasized the importance of protecting marine ecosystems and the role of youth in contributing to ocean conservation. Discussions highlighted sustainable practices, environmental stewardship, and collective responsibility in addressing marine degradation and pollution.
