The Cebu Doctors’ University College of Allied Medical Sciences, Department of Medical Technology, invites everyone to take part in our Blood Donation Drive and help save lives through the simple yet powerful act of blood donation.

Every donation can make a meaningful difference to patients who depend on blood transfusions. Your willingness to give may be someone else’s reason to keep fighting.

DONOR ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

- Must weigh at least 50 kg
- Must undergo 3–4 hours of fasting prior to donation
- Must avoid smoking and alcoholic beverages for 24 hours before donation
- For individuals with tattoos or ear piercings, these must have been done at least 1 year ago.
- Bring one (1) valid ID.

Cebu Doctors’ University, through the Community Outreach Services (COS) Office, conducted the launching of Project UGMAD (Ugma Gahinan sa Mabungahong Aksyon ug Direksyon), in partnership with Tipolo National High School, on August 28, 2026.

The activity featured the project overview, introduction of the CDU Team, meeting with project partners from Tipolo NHS, commitment signing, and an ocular inspection of the school’s facilities and offices.

In collaboration with NSTP–Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), the Graduate School and the Non-teaching personnel, CDU aims to provide meaningful capacity-building initiatives focused on skills training, health education, disaster preparedness, and community resilience.

Through this partnership, CDU looks forward to working closely with Tipolo NHS in addressing its needs and creating sustainable programs that empower its teachers, staff, and the wider school community.

As per the declaration of the City Government of Mandaue, Cebu Doctors’ University hereby announces the resumption of face-to-face classes effective tomorrow, Monday, September 7, 2026.

All students, faculty members, and personnel are reminded to exercise caution and prioritize their safety while traveling to and from the University. Everyone is advised to follow safety protocols and official advisories as necessary.

In consideration of the prevailing transboundary haze, all classes tomorrow, September 5, 2026, shall shift to synchronous online or any feasible non-face-to-face learning modality.

University offices shall be open in the morning. Since no in-person school activities will be permitted tomorrow, the University will be closed in the afternoon. Only CDU authorized personnel will be permitted to enter the campus.

The CDU community is advised to prioritize safety and to monitor CDU’s official communication channels for verified updates and further announcements.

Cebu Doctors’ University proudly participated in the CESAFI 2026 Opening Ceremony held on August 29, 2026, at the Cebu Coliseum.

The event officially marked the opening of another exciting season of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI), bringing together student-athletes and representatives from various schools and universities across Cebu in celebration of sportsmanship, excellence, and camaraderie.

Representing Cebu Doctors’ University for the Miss CESAFI 2026 competitions are Ms. Shelly Russ C. Rajamani for the Senior High School Division and Ms. Aaliyah Amoren for the College Division. Both representatives proudly carried the name and colors of the University as they took part in this year’s opening ceremony.

Cebu Doctors’ University extends its warmest congratulations to Ms. Shelly Russ C. Rajamani and Ms. Aaliyah Amoren for representing the University with pride, grace, and excellence. Meanwhile, the regular work schedule shall resume tomorrow, September 4, 2026.
