| In accordance with Proclamation No. 727 issued by the Office of the President, the following holidays will be observed:

December 8, 2025 (Monday) – Special non-working holiday to commemorate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.

December 24, 2025 (Wednesday) – Special non-working holiday in the entire country to celebrate Christmas Eve.

December 25, 2025 (Thursday) – Regular holiday nationwide in observance of Christmas Day, an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.

December 30, 2025 (Tuesday) – Regular holiday nationwide to commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. JosΓ© Rizal, a national hero of the Philippines.

December 31, 2025 (Wednesday) – Special non-working holiday nationwide in celebration of New Year’s Eve, the last day of the year.

LOOK: UC receives TESDA recognition to offer 3-year diplomas in Applied AI, Computer Engineering Tech

The University of Cebu (UC) received certificates of recognition from Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Regional Office 7 on December 2, 2025, at the City Sports Club Cebu, authorizing the institution to offer 3-Year Diplomas in Applied Artificial Intelligence Technology and Computer Engineering Technology.

The recognition is part of TESDA’s launch of its pilot Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF) Level V diploma programs in manufacturing, semiconductor, and allied fields, which will provide fully funded scholarship opportunities for aspiring technology professionals. UC was awarded alongside the Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise (CITE), Inc. and Cebu Technological University (CTU).

The two 3-year diploma programs, developed in partnership with TESDA, are set to begin in the first semester of School Year 2026–2027 across UCLM, UC-Main, and UC-Banilad.| via Shanneah Maca

The University of Cebu-Lapulapu and Mandaue is pleased to announce that enrollment for the 2nd Semester of the S.Y. 2025-2026 is now open.

The University of Cebu-Lapulapu and Mandaue (UCLM) is pleased to announce that enrollment for the Second Semester of the Academic Year 2025-2026 is now open.

Classes will start on January 26, 2026.

| Due to inclement weather conditions, the University of Cebu–Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue (UCLM) hereby announces that all lecture classes shall shift to online delivery, while laboratory classes are instructed to arrange appropriate make-up schedules on Monday, November 24, 2025.

Furthermore, academic and administrative heads, as well as staff, are advised to report to work as usual.
