The Mandaue City College (MCC) is a government-recognized higher education institution in Mandaue, Philippines, established for deserving students, mostly graduates from barangay high schools, who have no access to education in mainstream private colleges or universities. There is another school with duplicate name called Mandaue City College but is now known as Paulus Cañete College (MCC Basak),

but it is not affiliated with this school. This is the only CHED-accredited local government higher educational institution in the City of Mandaue. MCC Board of Trustees

The CITY of MANDAUE is now in SEARCH FOR THE 2026 JUSTICE SOTERO B. CABAHUG MEDALIST

WHO MAY APPLY?
1. The applicant must be a native and/or a resident of Mandaue for at least five (5) years immediately preceding the date of graduation, or that he/she is a son/daughter of a Mandauehanon, who is presently residing in Mandaue City;

2. Must be of good moral character;

3. Qualified graduates of any collegiate course from any school, college, or university with a general average rating of at least 90% or its equivalent, taking into consideration his/her school and community involvements and achievements, with emphasis on leadership and service.
Criteria:
50% Academic
30% Leadership
20% Community

4. Must have graduated during the year 2025

HOW TO APPLY?
On or before 5 PM on March 31, 2026 the applicant shall file the application form at the Mandaue City Public Library at F. Gomez St., Centro, Mandaue City

1. COLLEGE GRADUATE S.Y.2024-2025 (4 OR 5-YEAR COURSE).

2. PSA BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

3. CERTIFICATION FROM REGISTRAR, ATTESTED BY SCHOOLHEAD, GRADUATED 2025 WITH HONORS AND EQUIVALENT PERCENTAGE.

4. CERTIFICATION FROM THE PUNONG BARANGAY, NATIVE RESIDENTS OF BARANGAY (5 YEARS PRECEDING GRADUATION OR PARENTS MANDAUEHANON RESIDING IN MANDAUE).

5. CERTIFICATION FROM THE PUNONG BARANGAY OR SCHOOLHEAD OF GOOD MORAL CHARACTER.
