You have worked hard, prepared diligently, and grown stronger through every obstacle. Now, step forward with confidence, knowing that your efforts have not been in vain.

Last July 6, 2026, heartbreaking news reached us. A fellow member of the JPSME family has departed, leaving behind a community that mourns the loss of a friend, a classmate, and a future mechanical engineer.

Like the rest of us, Den Andrey Y. Ceniza had dreams and aspirationsβ€”not only for himself, but also for his family and the people he loved. Though his journey was cut short, the impact he made and the memories he shared will forever remain in our hearts.

The Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – UCLM Chapter extends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. During this time of profound sorrow, we pray that you find strength, comfort, and peace in the love and support of those around you.

We humbly ask everyone to keep Mr. Ceniza and his bereaved family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue (UCLM) proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its π•Έπ–Šπ–ˆπ–π–†π–“π–Žπ–ˆπ–†π–‘ π•°π–“π–Œπ–Žπ–“π–Šπ–Šπ–—π–Žπ–“π–Œ students during the 5th PSIM Visayas Regional Conference. Competing against nine participating teams from Cebu, Leyte, and Negros, our delegates demonstrated exceptional knowledge, technical competence, and teamwork, bringing pride and honor to the university.

The UCLM Quiz Bowl Team, composed of Carl Magno Mellizar, Earl John Pil, and Jerome Ireneo, emerged as Champions, showcasing their excellence in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Meanwhile, Jerk Brian Llavore secured 1st Place in the CAD Challenge, highlighting his outstanding technical and design skills. These accomplishments contributed to UCLM's overall success, earning the Championship title in the Quiz Bowl Competition and 1st Place in the CAD Challenge. Congratulations to our students for their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Your achievements continue to inspire the UCLM community and uphold the standards of future mechanical engineers.
