Today, the Philippines remains in the world’s list of developing countries as it is plagued with problems such as poverty, unemployment, and corruption. Although brimming with plenty of opportunities for economic growth and success, the country continues to struggle against stagnancy. In reality, it is difficult for a nation to prosper especially when its resources and riches are tightly controlled and plundered by a small group of elites. At present, one of the biggest hurdles that the Philippines must overcome are the chains of kleptocracy.

Amidst collective struggle, the Filipinos must constantly call for accountability and transparency in the government in order to systematically topple down abusive politicians. When competent and qualified individuals are elected, the Philippines may finally be free from the chains of kleptocracy.

Come and join us as we educate ourselves about Kleptocracy in the Philippines!
