His Eminence Orlando Cardinal Beltran Quevedo, O.M.I., D.D., shared a meaningful message with the Class of 2026, reminding the graduates that lasting peace begins within the heart.
He encouraged them to live out the Benedictine spirit of Ora et Laboraβ€”grounding their lives in prayer, diligent work, and selfless serviceβ€”as they navigate the continuing pursuit of social peace and the challenges of the world beyond the University.

As the Class of 2026 begins a new chapter, Cardinal Quevedo’s words serve as a lasting reminder: to seek peace within, work for the good of others, and serve with faith and purpose.

| Today we honor the life, courage, and sacrifice of Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. A man who stood for freedom, democracy, and the belief that β€œThe Filipino is worth dying for.”

May his legacy inspire us to value our liberty, stand for what is right, and work together to build a better nation for every Filipino.

Lest we forget the price of our freedom.
