🥃✨ It’s Wh**ky Live Season! But first, Wh**ky Meets the Academe at Benilde!

Before the excitement of Wh**ky Live Manila on October 16–17 at Shangri-la The Fort, BS-Hospitality and Luxury Management students got a taste of the craft through Wh**ky Meets the Academe, an event organized by World-Class Hoteliers in Progress (WHIP) which happened September 29, 2026 at the Salle de Bordeaux, Benilde’s Bar Laboratory.

From industry insights and bartending demonstrations to hands-on experiences, the event celebrated the art of wh**ky appreciation and the skills behind the bar.

BS-HLM students embarked on the International Cruise Exposure and Familiarization Tour aboard Royal Caribbean’s Spectrum of the Seas, gaining valuable industry insights into the dynamic world of cruise hospitality.

From exploring fine dining spaces and food and beverage operations to discovering the ship’s galley, high-tech laundry facilities, and exclusive guest areas, students experienced firsthand the scale, innovation, and operational excellence behind world-class cruise experiences.
