This premier academic gathering brings together graduate researchers, scholars, faculty members, and academic leaders in a dynamic platform for the presentation of innovative research, exchange of scholarly insights, and advancement of knowledge toward sustainable innovation, national development, and meaningful social transformation.

The Research Colloquium will feature distinguished international scholars 𝓓𝓻. 𝓓𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓭 𝓓𝓸𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓵 𝓐𝓫𝓪𝓭 of the Spanish Association of East Asian Studies, University or Salamanca, Spain, and 𝓓𝓻. 𝓡𝓾𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓲 𝓕. 𝓣𝓾𝓹𝓪𝓼 of University College London (UCL), Institute of Education, United Kingdom. Their keynote lectures will highlight the transformative impact of graduate research in advancing innovation, sustainability, and positive societal change

PUP graduate students are invited to present their scholarly works under the following research tracks: Social Science, Education, and Humanities; Engineering, Technology, and Applied Sciences; Business and Management; and Multidisciplinary Research. MS-Biology joins the 48th Annual Scientific Meeting of the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST).
Our graduate students participated as poster presenters, contributing their work titled “INTEGRATIVE MORPHOLOGICAL AND ITS-BASED PHYLOGENETIC CHARACTERIZATION OF Acremonium sclerotigenum IN BELL PEPPER CULTIVATION” authored by Emerald C. Cafugauan, Kristine Cloudith C. Jarlan, Kristel Joy S. Cada, Gabrille Kyle D. Amada, John Rudolf D. Catalan, and Dr. Lourdes V. Alvarez.

This opportunity reflects our commitment to advancing research and engaging with the broader scientific community. We are honored to share our findings alongside fellow scholars and researchers at this national gathering.

🎉👏 Congratulations to our MS Biology students from PUP! 👏🎉

We are proud to celebrate John Matthew R. Timbangcaya for being selected as poster paper presenters at Association of Systematic Biologists of the Philippines (ASBP) International Symposium and 43rd Scientific and Annual Meeting, held on 2–5 June 2026. Grateful for the opportunity to learn, share research, and engage with fellow scientists committed to strengthening biodiversity studies and systematics. with the theme “Maneuvering barriers and reinforcing synergies toward an inclusive and accessible systematics”🌊🌱

His remarkable study, "Integrated Surface and Deep-Water Plankton Sampling in the Coastal
Waters of Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental," was presented on June 4, 2024, at as part of this prestigious 4-day event. This research was originally conducted as a requirement for their course subject Advanced Ecology.
