OFFICIAL TEASER: “Project Drag” by Habi Films

Sa likod ng kinang ng entablado, isang up-and-coming drag artist ang patuloy na nagsusumikap mabuhay sa isang industriyang walang kasiguraduhan sa trabaho at kita. Para sa kan'ya, ang drag ay hindi lang sining, bagkus ito ang kanyang kabuhayan. Ang Project Drag ay isang social at cultural documentary na sumusunod sa buhay ng isang drag artist, sa harap at likod ng entablado. Sa pamamagitan ng personal na karanasan at mga panayam, ibubunyag ng pelikula ang hamon ng gig economy, ang kakulangan ng legal na pagkilala sa drag bilang lehitimong hanapbuhay, at ang koneksyon ng sining sa laban para sa karapatan sa paggawa. Ipinapakita ng dokumentaryo ang pagsasalungat ng drag bilang sining at bilang trabaho, habang binibigyang-diin ang lakas ng kolektibong pagkilos para sa pagkilala at proteksyon ng mga drag artist at freelance workers. Sa huli, hindi lang ito kwento ng pagkatao o sining, ito ay panawagan para sa dignidad, katarungan, at pagkilala.
