Starting this Term 1, A.Y. 2026โ€“2027, students under the School of Diplomacy and Governance are expected to wear Professional Business Attire every first Monday of the month.

The bazaar featured food prepared by refugees from 7 different countries. This initiative was launched to raise awareness on the plight of displaced persons and help them rebuild their livelihoods through skills development, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.

From 30 June to 7 July, our very own ๐˜‹๐˜ช๐˜ฑ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ค๐˜บ ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜ˆ๐˜ง๐˜ง๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ณ๐˜ด (DIA) and ๐˜Ž๐˜ฐ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜—๐˜ถ๐˜ฃ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ค ๐˜ˆ๐˜ง๐˜ง๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ณ๐˜ด (GPA) delegates joined forces with young changemakers from around the world to tackle real-world issues.

Organized by the ๐’๐ข๐ง๐ ๐š๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ฌ, this week-long forum was packed with interactive workshops, company visits, and an intense social innovation hackathon focused on UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.

Talk about putting SDG for SDGs into action! Our SDG student leaders put their diplomacy, international relations, and governance skills to the testโ€”proving once again that critical thinking, resourcefulness, creativity, and world-class communication are second nature to Benildeans.

Because of their incredible performance (and rave reviews from the organizers!), weโ€™re making it official: SSLF is now a regular staple in the SDG Institutional Exchange and Training (IET) agenda!

NEW ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP APPOINTMENTS ๐Ÿ“ฃ

Benilde welcomed its newly appointed Academic School Deans, School Director, Associate Deans, and Program and Area Chairpersons for the 1st Term of A.Y. 2026-2027. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academics (OVCA) announced the appointments via email on Aug. 28.

The appointments aim to support the continued growth, innovation, and inclusion of the Benildean community.

The program featured a three-day online lecture series on policy analysis, environmental governance, and disaster management, followed by a seven-day onsite immersion on 28 June - 5 July 2026 that included policy brief presentations, institutional visits (IndoRelawan, BNBP- National Board for Disaster Management, and Deutsche Gesellschaft fรผr Internationale Zusammenarbeit) , cultural immersions, and a village experience.

The delegation also earned several distinctions: Nasha David, Dan Losanes, and Miguel Zaragoza were named Best Participant in their respective groups; Rissa Estrella received the Best Participant and Most Resilient Group awards; while Kim Resuma and Miguel Zaragoza were recognized as members of the Most Active Group.
