| Grade 11 ASSH Agoncillo Brings Science to Life Through Prototype Creation
Building Ideas, Putting Physics in Motion!
Grade 11 ASSH Agoncillo students turned their physics concepts into working prototypes during the presentation of their Prototype Creation, held under the guidance of their General Science teacher, Ms. Nicka Joyce Solis, with Mr. Carlo Magat serving as the panelist.
The activity challenged students to transform scientific principles into functional models using accessible materials. From hydraulic bridges and pulley systems to mechanical structures, each prototype demonstrated how physics can be applied to solve practical problems.
Beyond simply displaying their models, the students were given the opportunity to explain how their prototypes worked and how the principles of physics influenced their designs.
They also discussed the challenges they encountered while constructing and testing their projects.
The presentation also highlighted the importance of improving each prototype through testing, while students identified areas for improvement.
With creativity meeting scientific knowledge, the Prototype Creation gave Grade 11 ASSH Agoncillo students a hands-on way to experience physics beyond the classroom.
Their models showed that scientific principles can move from equations and discussions into working structures built through teamwork, experimentation, and problem-solving
