𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬: 𝐅𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 ✨

On June 27, 2026, our first-year students, accompanied by Sir Reynald Sy, attended the Foundation for Upgrading the Standard of Education, Inc. (FUSE) Monthly General Assembly at the FUSE Learning Center for Teachers (FUSE-LCT) in Ermita, Manila.

The assembly brought together seasoned educators and academic professionals, featuring an insightful lecture on "𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀" 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗜. 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗼 of the University of the Philippines Diliman and the Founding Dean of Mater Dei Academy College in Santa Maria, Bulacan.

In her talk, Dr. Alonzo emphasized that teacher credibility significantly influences student outcomes, noting that it is ultimately the students who determine whether a teacher is credible. She explained that teacher credibility is built on four essential components: 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗰𝘆. By cultivating these qualities, educators can foster meaningful teacher-student relationships that inspire engagement, strengthen learning, and positively impact student achievement.
