Greetings, Thomasians!

In this time of crisis, let us remain critical of the information we see and consume online. May we choose not to contribute to the spread of disinformation.

As one Thomasian community, let us uphold integrity, stay grounded in our values, and become part of the solution to transboundary issues rather than adding to them.

Moving forward, may we continue to embody our values in solidarity.

Greetings, Thomasians!

As we look forward to the Inflatables and Rides, the Council would like to remind everyone to stay safe amidst the high heat indices. Stay hydrated, bring fans, avoid prolonged stay under the sun, and take breaks in shaded or cooler areas.

Let us all stay safe and mindful of our well-being as we make the most of the festivities.

Please be guided accordingly.

"Man should not consider his material possession his own, but as common to all, so as to share them without hesitation when others are in need." – St. Thomas Aquinas

In celebration of our University’s 415th Founding Anniversary, the UST Central Student Council launches Tulong Tomasino: Kaagapay ng Pamilya ng mga Tsuper—a community-driven initiative rooted in compassion and collective action. 🤝

Amid the ongoing fuel crisis, many continue to face financial challenges. Through this project, we aim to extend support by sharing our blessings, such as rice, a basic Filipino commodity, to identified beneficiaries while mobilizing the Thomasian community to take part in this shared effort. 🌾

Priority beneficiaries are Thomasian students with PUV driver family members. They may register through the designated gforms. Further details on confirmation and distribution will be sent via email.

UST CENTRAL STUDENT COUNCIL UPDATES ON LEARNING MODALITY FOR APRIL 15-17, 2026

Greetings, Thomasians!

On April 13, the same day as transport groups announced the transport strike for April 15-17, the UST CSC Crisis Management Committee published a Constituency Check through the local student council officers to gather the sentiments of the students on the said transport strike. Particularly, the ease of travel and availability of public transportation to and from UST.

The Crisis Management Committee does this to anchor our petition and recommendation to the administration to shift to EVM on empirical data and the student body’s direct sentiments on the matter.

In line with this, the Council filed a petition to move onsite classes to online modality from April 15-17. Today, which was declared as shifted to EVM on the official page of the University yesterday, was what we aimed for. Additionally, following the official announcement of the University this afternoon, April 16-17 are shifted to EVM.

We hope that this answers all inquiries within the Thomasian Community.

Moving forward, as one Thomasian Community, may we all remind ourselves to be vigilant with the information circulating online, and may we all refrain from consuming and spreading unverified information.

Please be guided accordingly. 🐯
