Classes at all levels at the UE Manila and Caloocan Campuses shall shift to asynchronous learning tomorrow, Monday, August 10, 2026.

𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

• 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘄: Classes shall be conducted online synchronously, as scheduled.

• 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆: Classes may be conducted synchronously or asynchronously, depending on the course and at the discretion of the faculty. Please await the official announcement from UECDENT.

Work operations shall shift to special work arrangements. Employees are advised to coordinate with their respective supervisors and unit heads regarding their work arrangements and deliverables.

This advisory remains in effect unless another announcement is issued by the University, respective LGUs, or Malacañang.

The University of the East – Manila Basic Education Department reminds all students, teachers, parents, and personnel to continue practicing proper health and safety measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other viral illnesses.

In light of recent public health advisories and as a precautionary measure following reports of increased COVID-19 activity in parts of Metro Manila, the University is implementing temporary health and safety measures to help protect the school community.

✅ Avoid crowded areas whenever possible.
✅ Stay home and inform your teacher or parent if you are feeling unwell.
✅ Maintain a healthy lifestyle through proper rest, nutritious meals, and adequate hydration.

HIGHLIGHTS | MICC Presidential Assembly

Earlier today, the student organization presidents, selected club officers, and club advisers of UE Basic Education Manila Senior High School gathered for the MICC Presidential Assembly at the Instructional Resource Center.

The assembly served as a venue to discuss upcoming activities, recognize the success of Recruitment Week, and strengthen collaboration among student leaders through meaningful conversations and shared ideas.

ICYMI | Last July 28, 2026, the UE Basic Education Manila community gathered at the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel for the Mass of the Holy Spirit, offering the new academic year to God and seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit as students, teachers, administrators, and employees embarked on another year of learning and service.

In his homily, Fr. Virgil reflected on the Parable of the Weeds among the Wheat, reminding the us that while good and evil exist side by side in the world, God created us for goodness. As children of God, we are called each day to nurture the goodness He has planted within us, choosing to live out our faith through acts of love, compassion, and service.

As we begin this new academic year, may the Holy Spirit continue to renew our minds, strengthen our faith, and guide us in becoming a Christ-centered community committed to truth, excellence, and service
