ALL NEWLY ENROLLED Graduate School students taking Thesis 1, Thesis 2, Dissertation 1, or Dissertation 2 are required to attend the Thesis/Dissertation Orientation for the First Semester, AY 2026–2027.

Students who are re-enrollees, in residency, or have previously attended a Thesis/Dissertation Orientation are not required to attend again, but are most welcome to join as a refresher.

Date: August 8, 2026
Time: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Venue: Librada Avelino (L.A.) Auditorium, CEU Manila

The Orientation will be held onsite only.

The orientation will cover the important policies, procedures, timelines, and requirements for the successful completion of your thesis or dissertation.

Please be reminded that attendance is MANDATORY for all NEWLY ENROLLED Thesis/Dissertation students. Students who fail to attend will not be processed and will not be allowed to proceed with their thesis/dissertation requirements until they have attended an orientation.

Attendance will form part of the student’s clearance at the end of the academic year and upon graduation.

This is to formally invite ALL NEW Graduate School students to the New Students Orientation for the First Semester of AY 2026–2027, which will be held tomorrow with the following details:

Date: August 08, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Venue: Librada Avelino (L.A.) Auditorium, CEU Manila

The Orientation will be held onsite only.

The orientation is designed to familiarize students with important academic policies, Graduate School procedures, and the support services available to help them successfully complete their program.

Please be reminded that attendance is mandatory for all students who are newly enrolled for the First Semester of AY 2026–2027, as well as students who were first enrolled during the Midyear Term of AY 2025–2026 and were unable to attend the previous orientation.

Attendance will form part of the student’s clearance at the end of the academic year and upon graduation.

♻️ Join the Movement for a Greener Tomorrow! 🌱

On July 30, 2026, the CEU Graduate School and the Academic Affairs Office, officially launched the Electronic Waste (E-Waste) Bin—a significant step toward promoting environmental stewardship, responsible waste management, and a more sustainable university community.

The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was led by Dr. Francis Michael P. Yambao, Dean of the Graduate School, and Dr. Teresa R. Perez, SVP for Academic Affairs, together with members of the Administrative Council and our distinguished guest, Secretary Robert E.A. Borje, Vice Chairperson and Executive Director of the Climate Change Commission, who served as the University's Convocation Speaker.

More than 50 students, faculty members, and non-teaching personnel actively participated in the launch by bringing their unused and obsolete electronic devices for proper disposal and recycling, demonstrating the CEU community's shared commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Together, every small action creates a lasting impact. Let us continue working hand in hand for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.♻️
