The Dean Ma. Lourdes D. Maglinao Simulation Innovation Cup honors the Dean’s instrumental leadership, vision, and support in making the Simulation Center a reality. It recognizes her contribution while creating a lasting legacy that inspires Ingenuity, Impact, and Innovation

This would complement the Simulation Champion Legacy Project very well: the Champion project incentivizes departmental engagement, while SIM-INNOVATE develops the next generation of student innovators and simulation educators.

It is intended to become a perpetual annual USTFMS program. An annual innovation program that develops a culture of frugal, locally relevant simulation—especially among medical students.

The tag line creates a legacy connection between the building and the students who will use it: the Dean helped make the physical infrastructure possible, and the students are challenged to fill that infrastructure with innovation.

With deep sadness, Anargyroi: FMS Foundation, Inc. mourns the passing of Dr. Peter Hwang Fang, a founding figure and cherished supporter of the Foundation.

Dr. Fang’s deep love for the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery was evident in his enduring gratitude for the education and values he received there, and in his desire to give back to the institution that had been an important part of his life. He generously shared his time, resources, and vision in support of medical education and the dreams of future physicians.

His kindness, generosity, and grateful heart touched many lives and will remain part of the enduring legacy he leaves behind through Anargyroi.

Only weeks ago, we mourned the passing of his beloved wife, Dr. Linda Fang. Today, we remember them both with heartfelt gratitude for their lives, their love for UST-FMS, and the lasting difference they made in the lives of others.

May they both rest in eternal peace.
