In view of the scheduled transport strike by MANIBELA and PISTON on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 29–30, 2026, classes at all levels in UE Manila and UE Caloocan shall be conducted through the online synchronous learning modality.

Graduate School classes shall be conducted through online synchronous or asynchronous learning modalities.

Students are advised to coordinate with their instructors regarding class activities, requirements, and other instructions.

All members of the UE Community are encouraged to regularly check the University’s official communication channels for updates and further announcements.

#𝗨𝗘 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟳𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆

The UE College of Education proudly commemorates its 77th Foundation Anniversary, celebrating more than seven decades of excellence, commitment, service, and dedication to the noble profession of teaching.

As part of this meaningful celebration, the College gathered for a Thanksgiving Mass, offering prayers of gratitude for God’s guidance, blessings, and faithfulness throughout its 77-year journey. The celebration was also an opportunity to give thanks for the administrators, faculty members, staff, students, alumni, and partners who have continuously contributed to the College’s enduring legacy.

For 77 years, the College of Education has remained committed to its mission of nurturing competent, compassionate, and committed educators, teachers who inspire, lead, serve, and contribute to the continuing development of Philippine education.

In view of the Traffic Advisory on the Commemoration of the 54th Anniversary of the Declaration of Martial Law, which includes road closures around the vicinity of the University beginning 12:01 a.m. on September 21, 2026, all classes at UE Manila on Monday, September 21, 2026, shall shift to online synchronous learning modality.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | 𝗨𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗟𝗔 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗡

In view of Memorandum Circular No. 135, and in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall, the University of the East will implement the following arrangements on Thursday, September 10, 2026;

𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦
Classes at UE Manila and UE Caloocan shall be conducted through the following learning modalities:
• College - Online Synchronous
• Basic Education - Asynchronous

Leniency shall be extended to students who may experience difficulty attending online classes or completing requirements due to weather-related circumstances and connectivity issues.

Students are advised to coordinate with their respective instructors for class activities, requirements, and further instructions.

Accordingly, no Preliminary Examinations shall be administered today. All affected Preliminary Examination schedules shall instead be moved to the next immediate face-to-face class session.

The UE College of Education Dean, Dr. Eva Aurora Callueng, participated in the Learning Exchange Program on Designing Gender-Transformative Syllabi organized by the ASEAN University Network Gender Justice and Inclusion (AUN-GJI) in partnership with SEAMEO-RIHED, held at the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, from August 31 to September 2, 2026.

The program brought together academic leaders, faculty members, curriculum developers, gender justice advocates, and higher education professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region to explore measures for advancing inclusive teaching through the GEDI (Gender Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) framework.
